DFAD is proud to announce a new project in Kansas City that is currently underway! And this is one you won’t want to miss.
This exciting new project located in Kansas City involves renovating a Ronald McDonald House apartment into a spa space for pampering and relaxation for the families of sick children receiving medical treatment at nearby hospitals. Some of the services that will be offered include haircuts and styling for both adults and kids, and manicures and pedicures for kids. There will even be an area where older children fighting cancer with hair loss can get wigs fitted, as well a space where younger kids can represent princesses and pirates with yarn wigs to wear.
To bring this space to life, you can expect to see some fun light fixtures, unique countertops, and colors that reflect feelings of relaxation.
We are incredibly excited to announce this project in partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, as well as with the team at Lisa Schmitz Interior Design, including Lisa, Alicia, Carla, and Wendy.
Check back near the end of the year to see how this project has progressed!
