Design For A Difference (DFAD) wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our supplier partners’ contributions toward transforming spaces for local community organizations. Since DFAD started, our top suppliers have donated a cumulative total of over $300,000. These donations have come in the form of products and monetary donations to help gather supplies needed to transform these spaces into what they are today. Some of the products our supplier partners have donated include flooring, window treatments, and more. Many of our partners also make monetary contributions so we can complete the finishing touches such as adding art from a local artist. Many of our supplier partners work through our locally owned IDG member locations to help fund DFAD projects. We want to take a look at our top 5 supplier partners and give them some recognition.
Shaw
Shaw is one of the biggest names in the flooring industry. They have contributed flooring and funds to purchase the items necessary to complete several DFAD projects. Shaw has been a contributor since 2015 and continues to donate materials and money to help DFAD transform different community organizations.
Karndean
Karndean is one of our luxury vinyl flooring suppliers. They have donated durable and long-lasting flooring for several DFAD projects including the Madison Rainbow Project in Madison, WI.
Hunter Douglas
Hunter Douglas is one of the largest window treatment manufacturers and suppliers in Northern America. They have donated to local IDG members to complete the finishing touches on a few DFAD projects. Hunter Douglas is also a key supporter of Habitat For Humanity.
Johnsonite
Johnsonite is a part of the Tarkett family and delivers a variety of flooring options and flooring finishes. Johnsonite has donated finishing touches including baseboard and finishing accessories such as transitions and risers.
Mohawk
Mohawk is another large manufacturer and supplier of flooring solutions. Mohawk has donated materials and funds in order for local IDG members to complete DFAD projects.
