Frequently Asked Questions

What is Design for a Difference?

Design for a Difference is the first-ever community driven designer movement that brings our socially-conscious showrooms together with interior designers and other businesses to makeover much needed spaces at local charities.

Who will benefit?

The experience and publicity generated during the makeover process will benefit the local charity; its staff, volunteers and the community in which it serves along with local businesses and the entire design team.

Who can be involved?

Any person, business or organization that has the passion to make a difference including design professionals such as interior designers, architects and design students who register at IDGdesigner.com.

When are the deadlines?

Although many Design For A Difference projects occur simultaneously, they may each be at various stages of the process. Exact schedules including deadlines are determined by each city team based on the availability of team members, designers and resources.
